Amazon announces IMDb freedive service that will provide free visual content but with ads

After a period of reports about the launch of the Amazon for free new content broadcasting service, specifically through the IMDB service, the company finally launched its IMDB freedive service which will provide free visual content to users but will be supported by advertisements on the way of movies and TV series.

Currently, the new service contains 130 different films from previous movies, as well as 29 TV series and programs, and Amazon later aims to raise this number by agreeing with content rights holders to offer it to its service.

The company may exploit this by subtracting the content of the Prime service after a period of time for paid subscription users to take advantage of it free of charge via the new IMDb freedive, but at the same time Amazon will be able to make profits in a different way after making profits from subscriptions, which means increasing the income from Advertising and opportunity to compete with companies like Facebook.
