Mercedes and BMW signed a memorandum of understanding for the joint development of technology. Joint development work will be carried out through a scalable architecture that covers several stages of automation, with the development of levels 3 and 4 of self-driving on highways.

In addition, there will be potential for expanded cooperation to include higher levels of self-leadership and applications both on highways and in urban areas.

he development of current generation techniques and continued cooperation between the two companies will remain unaffected and continue as before. Therefore, the note will apply to future plans. I also announced today that they are looking for more partners in this new endeavor.
