Dina Powell could be Nikki Haley successor at the United Nations

US President Donald Trump has said he is considering the appointment of Egyptian-American Dina Powell the Goldman Sachs’s managing director as successor to Nikki Haley.

Trump spoke of Powell’s appointment as a response to questions from White House journalists about potential candidates for the post of US permanent representative to the United Nations after Nikki Haley resigned and left office by the end of the year.

Dina Powell, 45, is currently working for Goldman Sachs Financial Services and earlier served as a White House adviser.
