Excel application now supports capturing and importing a picture of the spreadsheet

“Excel” on both Android and IOS, add new feature allowing users to take a picture of a spreadsheet through the phone camera and then import it immediately for the application to manipulate it, as if a spreadsheet was created through the application itself.

In this context, the company indicated that the feature is currently available on the application from the Android, and later will be included for IOS users as well as for Microsoft users 365, and here the company will use the capabilities of artificial intelligence to implement this feature, with the identification of images so that users of Excel do not have to enter Paper data manually.

Finally, besides this really useful feature, the company also provided Microsoft account security alerts for their application Authenticator, where these alerts will work for personal accounts such as Outlook, and also include notices in case of password change or any account security activity.
