Facebook announces a security breach puts 50 million accounts information at risk
Facebook has just announced that information of up to 50 million users could be compromised after a security breach occurred on September 25 due to a vulnerability in the View As feature on the site which is now temporarily disabled.
Facebook has confirmed that nearly 90 million users have to re-log in to their accounts from the phone or computer after the company logged out of these accounts on Friday morning to protect the privacy of users.
The company said it did not know the origin and identity of the attackers and was still in the early stages of the investigation.
We will update this news as soon as more information is received.
