How your tongue reveals your health condition
Some of us do not spend too much time examining his tongue, but a quick look can reveal surprising things about your overall health.
there is a whole set of information that can be derived from “reading the tongue” size, texture, color, and shape.
The paper quoted Waffney Holland as saying that much information could be drawn from the size, texture, color and shape of the tongue.
She explained that there is a “tongue diagram”, it is divided into parts linked to each other with members of the body, which facilitates detection of signs of disease.
The color of the natural tongue is pink or light red, covered by a white layer, indicating that it may tend to a little purple color during menstruation in females.
The color of the tongue can be pale if there is a lack of vitamins or minerals in the body, which is common among those who suffer from anemia.
If the tongue turns red, this may indicate a fever due to fever or body temperature associated with menopause.
Holland stressed that “bulging tongue” can indicate a lack of nutrients and fluids in the body, while the thin tongue refers to drought.
“If the tongue contains a thin white layer, it is considered healthy and natural, but if there is no layer, this may indicate dryness,” she said.
She noted that dry yellow tongue refers to the temperature of the body, and the more intense color, the higher the body temperature, and this can mean the presence of inflammation in the body or the accumulation of bacteria or other imbalances.
If the tongue is gray or tilted to black, this indicates stagnation in the flow of energy, blood and fluid in the body.
A tooth that contains protrusions or cracks can also reveal a range of potential health problems.
The protrusions are diagnosed on the tongue depending on where they are and what they look like. For example, a bump on the front of the tongue may be a sign of a bacterial or viral infection or even a possible allergic reaction to drugs.
Deep cracks in the center indicate that the patient is susceptible to digestive problems, while sores can indicate a defect in the body.
The tongue, known as the “geographical tongue”, which forms a white layer on its surface forms “patches”, may mean the presence of heat in the stomach, which may appear in the form of GERD.
The tongue, which contains protrusions at the outer end, also indicates fluid retention in the body.
