Mercedes is determined to produce hydrogen cars next to the electric one
Although Mercedes has previously announced its future transformation into a full electric fleet, this will not prevent the company from continuing to develop hydrogen vehicles.
This is confirmed by Mr. Ola Kallenius, chairman of Mercedes, who said that the company will continue to produce hydrogen cars but will remain the main focus on the development of electric cars, and stated that it makes sense to launch an electric car and a hydrogen car at the same time, but probably the first Mercedes hydrogen will arrive By 2025.
Mr. Kallenius said that the most important point to be made to ensure the future of hydrogen cars is to try to make the price affordable to everyone. He said that this is the biggest obstacle to the car manufacturers at the moment. Many of the car companies have shown interest in hydrogen cars, including Audi, BMW, Hyundai, Kia, Honda and of course Toyota.
