Mitsubishi pulls more than 140,000 cars from the market

Mitsubishi Corp. will pull more than 145,000 cars from Russian markets alone, the Ross Standart consumer protection website said on Monday.

The site pointed out that the company’s decision came after the experts confirmed that some of its cars offered between 2012 and 2016, suffer from some technical problems, specifically problems in the work of manual brakes.

The draw will include more than 90,000 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEVs and about 50,000 ASXs launched by Mitsubishi in Russia after 2012.

Mitsubishi explained that its agents on Russian territory will inform owners of these vehicles to bring them to repair the imbalance in them, and that the repair of these problems will be free of charge, and as soon as possible.
