Nobel Prizes 2020 cancelled for first time in 64 years due to Corona

The Nobel Foundation has announced the cancellation of this year’s annual Nobel Prize snub due to the Corona pandemic, which means no one will receive this year’s Nobel Prize, the first time the awards ceremony has been cancelled since 1956.

“Nobel Week will not be the same because of the current epidemic, this is a very special year, in which everyone needs to make sacrifices and adapt to new circumstances,” said Nobel Foundation Director Lars Heinstein.

As of Tuesday evening, more than 14,977,000 people had died, and more than 8,994,994,000 had recovered.
