Orange cloud threatens diseases in Turkey .. photos
Sweeping wave of orange clouds loaded with dust, days ago, covers large areas of northeastern Turkey, which caused disruption of traffic, and released warnings of potential illnesses.
The Turkish newspaper Hurite published a collection of pictures, Thursday, showed a large number of trucks in Anatolia, flooded with mud, because of the rain that coincided with the dust wave.
The paper, quoting the Turkish Meteorological Authority, said the dust wave came from the desert in the Arabian Peninsula and Iran due to some dirt storms in these areas this time of year.
According to the weather forecast, the sand clouds are likely to continue until the end of this week and are now moving towards the western regions of Turkey, prompting some residents not to allow their children to go to school.
