The fall of an air hostess from a passenger plane in India
An air hostess was seriously injured after falling from a passenger plane that was closing its door at Mumbai airport in India, according to airline sources on Monday.
“Air host Harsha Lobo, 53, suddenly fell when she closed the door of Air India’s national flight on a flight to Delhi,” the sources said. “She was taken to hospital and seriously injured.”
She said an order had been issued to investigate the incident.
On Friday, a company plane crashed into a border fence at a Tamil Nadu airport in the south when it intended to take off. Luckily, no one was hurt.
