The first Cadillac electric car coming in two years
Cadillac has talked a lot about its intention to go to electric cars and keep up with the changes in the car market. The company seems to have started taking actual steps. A report has revealed that the first Cadillac electric car will come in 2020 or 2021.
Cadillac’s first sedan will be inspired by the Escala design, and will not be the only vehicle the company will work on. It plans to launch three more crossover cars in three different sizes.
Cadillac is currently working on several vehicles, including the CT5 and CT4, both of which will reach the market in 2020. The two cars are expected to carry a 2.0-liter V2 engine with a capacity of 237 hp, while the CT5 will be available with another V6 engine and another 4.2-liter 4.2-liter In CT6-V which generates 550 horsepower.
