The first images from the surface of the comet of Ryugu

The Japanese Space Exploration Agency (JAXA) has published photographs from the surface of the comet, Ryugu.

The images were obtained after two vehicles separated from the Hayabusa-2 probe and successfully landed on the surface of the Orb, and immediately sent the images to Earth.

The two vehicles separated from the probe on September 21 and, according to the IAEA site, the two vehicles are in good condition and working well, and one of the boats is still circling the surface of the Orb.
