The first tourist destination in the world … China ousts France from the top
A report of the company “Euromonitor International” predicted that China would outperform France by 2030, becoming the world’s first tourist destination.
According to the report published by the British newspaper, China will see a number of tourists receiving more than the rates of Germany and the United States of America.
In addition, it will see the largest number of departing passengers, with the number of outbound flights to China reaching 260 million by 2030.
China will be ranked first in tourist arrivals, with large numbers of Hong Kong and Taiwan tourists coming, the report said.
The increase in the number of tourists is due to economic growth and the high incomes of the people of Asian countries on the one hand, and the Chinese government’s use of tourist visa facilities on the other.
China’s most famous landmark is the Great Wall of China, one of the Seven Wonders of the world, and the city of Shanghai is China’s largest metropolis and a global financial center.
