Venezuela replace dollar with euro and yuan in the financial market deals
Venezuela has decided to replace the dollar with other currencies in its dealings in the national financial market, the Venezuelan vice president said Tuesday.
“Venezuela replaces the dollar with the euro, the yuan and other hard currencies in all dealings with the national currency exchange market,”.
The Venezuelan government has decided to provide two billion euros for the national exchange market through the existing financial mechanisms, the vice president added.
He said that the executive authorities would ask the Constituent Assembly to pass legislation that would penalize the organizations or persons responsible for smuggling the Venezuelan currency abroad.
