Where are the cleanest and most dirty air in the world?
Finland can boast of the cleanest air in the EU, only Iceland has surpassed it in the world rankings.
In addition to them, the top five ranks came from Estonia, Sweden and Australia, according to a classification prepared by Greenpeace and airvisual computer software developer.
The authors of the assessment compared the degree of air purity in 73 countries. They estimated the number of fine particles of dust on average in the air of the cities of certain countries. This is one of the most dangerous types of air pollution for humans: because of their small size, particles penetrate deeply into the respiratory tract and settle in the lungs, causing health problems from allergies to cancer.
In Bangladesh, India and Pakistan, the dirtiest weather was found.
