which kinds of wheel rims stronger, alloy or steel?

There are two main types of wheel rims used in the automotive world: There are rims made of mixed alloys of various types of metals and there are alloy wheels made of steel.

There are, of course, alloy wheels made of carbon fiber, but they have not been in the comparison because they are not commercially produced.

In today’s video, a hydraulic compression device was used to recognize the endurance between alloy and steel rims.

Alloy rims carry a larger pressure of up to 20 tons, but when they crash, they can never be repaired. Steel, with a pressure of only 10 tons. But unlike alloy rims, steel rims can be repaired in some cases.
